Stainless steel fabricator / welder
Full-time (40hrs/week)

Rondal is a manufacturer of masts and booms, winches and deck equipment, hatches and windbreaks, and composite products for the superyacht industry for both sailing and motor yachts, serving an exclusive global client base.

For our team we are looking for a

STAINLESS STEEL FABRICATOR / WELDER

You carry out high quality, precision stainless steel welding, with strong focus on quality and finish. You weld and fabricate stainless steel components for yachts, such as doors, hatches, and other parts. You work on constructions, frames, and custom made solutions. This is not serial production but varied one off custom work.

You read technical drawings and translate them into accurate, clean end results. You assemble components, complete the welding, and ensure a neat finish. You inspect your own work for dimensions, quality, and weld appearance. You actively think along about manufacturability and work closely with colleagues in the workshop, planning, or engineering to achieve the best result.

Profile:

  • Experience as a fabricator and or stainless steel welder.
  • Skilled in TIG welding of stainless steel. 
  • Experience with MIG welding is an advantage. 
  • Able to read and work from technical drawings. 
  • You work accurately and independently. 
  • You have a strong eye for quality and finishing.

Field service engineer
Full-time (40hrs/week)

Rondal produces masts and booms, winches and deck equipment, hatches and windbreaks, and composite products for the superyacht industry, both sailing and motor yachts, serving an exclusive global client base.

Rondal’s service team works closely with clients and crews of vessels in operation.

For our service team, we are looking for a

FIELD SERVICE ENGINEER

As a Field Service Engineer, you are the face of Rondal and work worldwide on board superyachts and shipyards. You ensure our systems perform optimally by installing, testing, commissioning, and maintaining them. You analyze malfunctions and resolve them independently. You look beyond the immediate fix and implement sustainable improvements.

You are the technical point of contact for captains, crew, and shipyards. You clearly explain what you do and what is required. You represent Rondal professionally and build strong relationships with clients and partners.

In your role, you combine technical expertise with responsibility. You carry out maintenance and repairs on mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems. You analyze performance and prevent recurring issues. In case of breakdowns or urgent jobs, you act quickly and work purposefully toward a solution. You collaborate closely with colleagues from engineering, production, and project management. You document your work in clear service reports and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards. Based on your practical experience, you actively contribute to improvements in products and processes.

This role offers the opportunity to work on exclusive projects in unique locations. You will have a high level of responsibility and room to develop yourself within a strong technical and international team.

Profile:

  • MBO or HBO level of education in mechanical engineering, mechatronics, maritime engineering, or electrical engineering.
  • Experience in yacht building, shipbuilding, or maritime engineering. 
  • Knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems. 
  • Ability to read technical drawings and schematics. 
  • You work independently and in a structured way. 
  • You communicate clearly and professionally in Dutch and English. 
  • You are flexible and comfortable with international travel.

Production Composites
Full-time (40hrs/week)

For our composite team we're looking for a:

PRODUCTIONWORKER COMPOSITE

As a composite production worker at Rondal, you will be working on unique and high-quality composite components, such as masts, booms, hatches, and superstructure constructions for superyachts. In a dynamic team, you will be involved in the production of state-of-the-art products and custom solutions.

WHAT DOES A PRODUCTION COMPOSITES WORKER DO?

Throughout the production process, you are responsible for the carbon product from start to finish. You laminate the products with carbon material in molds. You ensure the correct heat treatment in the oven or autoclave, and ultimately, you assemble and bond the components into a complete end product. Finally, you also finish the end product. In short, you oversee the entire production of the carbon product.

As a composite production worker at Rondal, you work in a unique sector with plenty of room for initiative and self-improvement.

We are looking for colleagues who are also enthusiastic about creating beautiful products with high-quality materials. Composite Team Leader

Composite Team Leader

As a Composite Team Leader, you are responsible for efficient work and capacity planning for the project and for monitoring the progress and quality of production. You maintain contact with the Production Manager, Project Manager, and Work Preparation team regarding required capacity, outsourcing, and materials. You contribute to a safe and organized workplace and proactively identify and solve problems. Additionally, you oversee compliance with regulations, quality control, and supervise internal and external inspections.

Profile:

  • MBO (intermediate vocational education) working and thinking level with a technical background;
  • Experience with composites in a production environment is essential;
  • Strong communication skills in both Dutch and English;
  • Excellent interpersonal skills;
  • Key competencies: quality awareness, leadership, stress resistance, and continuous improvement;
  • Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in a technical project-based organization.
