CNC TURNER
As a CNC Turner, you are responsible for carrying out CNC machining operations, primarily on stainless steel and aluminium. You mainly work with CNC lathes and ensure that all components meet the required specifications for dimensions, shape, surface finish and tolerances. Your work includes a variety of turning operations and, where required, additional machining activities.
You independently set up, operate and program CNC lathes and work with both large and small components, ranging from one-off parts to small production runs. With your precision and craftsmanship, you produce high-quality components that meet the demanding quality standards of the superyacht industry.
Profile:
- Education at LTS/MTS level (technical school);
- Ability to read technical drawings;
- Proven experience in a similar role;

As a project manager, you are responsible for monitoring the progress of projects and managing the project team. You ensure that all parties involved are informed fully and on time, set clear goals and priorities and respond effectively to changes throughout the project.

Rondal’s production planning department ensures that projects run smoothly from engineering through to production and assembly. The team plans the work, arranges materials and coordinates activities between departments. This ensures that everything is available on time, complete, to the required quality standards and according to schedule.
For our team we are looking for a
PRODUCTION ENGINEER COMPOSITES
As a composite production planner, you ensure that a technical design can actually be produced. You translate drawings and 3D models into clear production information and make sure that materials, cutting files and work instructions are ready before production starts.
An important part of your role is preparing work for our Zünd cutting machine. Using Rhino, you prepare cutting files and ensure efficient nesting of the various composite materials. This gives you a direct influence on both the production process and material usage.
You work closely with Engineering and Production. Together, you determine the best way to build and manufacture composite components. You contribute ideas on work sequences, material lay-up, moulds and tooling. If you identify that a design is difficult to manufacture in practice, you discuss this with Engineering and work together to find a solution.
You will not spend all your time behind a computer. You are regularly present on the shop floor, supporting Production with technical questions and identifying opportunities to improve production preparation and processes.
Profile:
- MBO or HBO level of education and thinking in a technical field, for example Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Naval Architecture or Maritime Engineering.
- Experience in production planning, CAD, production engineering or a similar technical role.
- Experience with Rhino or other 3D CAD software, or the ability to learn this quickly.
- Experience with composites, yacht building or another technical production environment is an advantage.
- Knowledge of or experience with CAD systems such as AutoCAD or Inventor is an advantage.
- Strong analytical skills, a structured way of working and a drive to continuously improve technology and processes.
- Good communication skills and a good command of English.
- A proactive approach and the ability to translate theoretical plans into practical solutions for the shop floor.

PLANNER
As a planner, you are responsible for coordinating, monitoring and optimising the planning process within Rondal. You ensure realistic capacity and project planning and play a central role in coordinating activities between Sales, Project Management, Engineering, the Production Planning Department and Production.
You provide delivery lead times to the Sales department, monitor available capacity and support the preparation and management of project schedules. You also ensure standardisation of the planning process and report directly to the Manager Production Planning.
You identify potential issues and bottlenecks at an early stage and work with the relevant departments to find appropriate solutions. You also prepare and chair the weekly planning meeting.
With your ability to maintain an overview, your analytical skills and proactive approach, you help ensure that projects stay on schedule and that people, materials and resources are used effectively.
Profile:
- MBO plus or HBO level of education and thinking, preferably in a technical or logistics-related field.
- Proven experience in a planning or coordination role, preferably within a technical environment.

MANUFACTURING ENGINEER COMPOSITES
As a Manufacturing Engineer, you bridge the gap between innovative technical design and a flawless production process. You work with high-end composites and ensure that complex designs are translated into a manufacturable, efficient, and repeatable reality.
In this role, you define the full build strategy and lay the foundation for stable output. Together with Engineering and the Production Team Lead, you set up the process and create the build plan for laminating, curing, and assembly. You also take production logistics into account.
You develop tooling concepts such as molds and fixtures to ensure quality and repeatability. You continuously assess designs for manufacturability and align with Engineering and Production. You analyze existing processes and implement improvements to reduce lead time, lower costs, and increase quality.
You support the start-up of new projects and help solve practical issues on the shop floor together with the production manager.
Profile:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s level in a technical field such as Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or Maritime Engineering
- Relevant experience as a manufacturing engineer; experience with composites in a production environment is a must

FIELD SERVICE ENGINEER
As a Field Service Engineer, you are the face of Rondal and work worldwide on board superyachts and shipyards. You ensure our systems perform optimally by installing, testing, commissioning, and maintaining them. You analyze malfunctions and resolve them independently. You look beyond the immediate fix and implement sustainable improvements.
You are the technical point of contact for captains, crew, and shipyards. You clearly explain what you do and what is required. You represent Rondal professionally and build strong relationships with clients and partners.
In your role, you combine technical expertise with responsibility. You carry out maintenance and repairs on mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems. You analyze performance and prevent recurring issues. In case of breakdowns or urgent jobs, you act quickly and work purposefully toward a solution. As a Quality Engineer, you are responsible for ensuring and improving the quality of complex technical products within one of our larger composite projects. You work on projects with high requirements in terms of safety and reliability. You prepare and manage quality documentation, ensuring traceability and compliance with national and international standards.
You develop and implement quality policies and safeguard the quality management system in line with standards such as AQAP and ISO 9001. You set up processes, continuously improve them and prevent errors to reduce costs and increase customer satisfaction.
You carry out audits, inspections and quality checks at suppliers and internally. You analyze deviations using root cause analysis and drive corrective and preventive actions. You apply methods such as FMEA, SPC and Lean Six Sigma, increase quality awareness through training and act as the point of contact for audits. You report on performance and document results clearly.

- Experience as a Quality Engineer or in a similar role

PRODUCTIONWORKER COMPOSITE
As a composite production worker at Rondal, you will be working on unique and high-quality composite components, such as masts, booms, hatches, and superstructure constructions for superyachts. In a dynamic team, you will be involved in the production of state-of-the-art products and custom solutions.
WHAT DOES A PRODUCTION COMPOSITES WORKER DO?
Throughout the production process, you are responsible for the carbon product from start to finish. You laminate the products with carbon material in molds. You ensure the correct heat treatment in the oven or autoclave, and ultimately, you assemble and bond the components into a complete end product. Finally, you also finish the end product. In short, you oversee the entire production of the carbon product.
As a composite production worker at Rondal, you work in a unique sector with plenty of room for initiative and self-improvement.
