Ard Ritsema, new Manager Engineering

Ard brings extensive experience from his many years at Rondal. His journey began in 2011 as Lead Engineer for Doors & Entrances, and in 2019, he advanced to Senior Lead Engineer for Winches, where he played a central role in developing our next-generation winches.
In his new role, he aims to strengthen the engineering department by creating structure and a future-ready team, continuing his work of delivering exceptional products. He describes the culture as one of excellence, with a team highly motivated to produce the best for clients. Looking ahead, he is especially interested in safe mooring solutions and sustainable advancements in sailing systems to reduce the carbon footprint of superyachts.
His goal is clear: to ensure top quality, maintain project control, and drive market-leading innovations that keep Rondal at the forefront of ultimate reliability
