UNMATCHED QUALITY
IN MAST ENGINEERING
Rondal designs and builds masts for superyachts in both carbon and aluminum. Each mast is engineered with care to combine strength, reliability, and performance. Our team works closely with shipyards, naval architects, designers, and owners’ representatives to deliver solutions that fit the yacht and the way it will be sailed.
One piece carbon innovation
A key innovation in Rondal’s portfolio is the out-of-autoclave, one-piece carbon mast. Produced in full length without sections or joints, this mast eliminates hard spots and ensures a smooth, consistent structure. The result is a lighter and stiffer spar with reliable load distribution, critical for the performance and safety of large sailing yachts. This method also allows greater design freedom and easier integration of reinforcements and systems inside the mast.
Advanced Production Facilities
At the heart of Rondal's operations are our state-of-the-art composite production facilities, certified by Lloyd’s, RINA, and DNV. Spanning 4,000m², these facilities include a 2,150m² composite workshop, a 90m+ composite oven, a 1,750m² assembly area, and a 60m painting shed. This advanced infrastructure allows us to handle the most demanding projects and offer both Out of Autoclave (OOA) and autoclave production options using high-performance pre-preg laminates.
Proven worldwide recognition
Rondal spars are recognized and trusted worldwide, with a proven track record at leading shipyards including Baltic Yachts, Perini Navi, and Royal Huisman, as well as many other yards across the globe.
