    REDUCE FUEL CONSUMPTION
AND EMISSIONS

The goal of this technology is to reduce fuel consumption and emissions from commercial shipping and improve transportation efficiency. This is a market with great potential, but still in its infancy. Currently there are 23 ships (out of a total fleet of 55.000) that are wind assisted. This year the number will double. Rondal believes in the future of wind propulsion, so we’ll keep looking for innovative solutions.
